The Heart of Rock and Roll

I am SO EXCITED! I just found out that Huey Lewis and the News will be performing at a neighboring town's summer fest, on July 5th.

I LOVE Huey Lewis. Have ever since I was just a kid. I've seen them in concert so many times that I've lost count. But they haven't been around in several years, so I can't WAIT.

Back when I was in high school, Huey was here in Chicago, filming a music video, and my best friend and I were lucky enough to get picked to be in it. It was so cool! We got to meet everyone, got their autographs, everything. I've got it on video tape somewhere. I need to get it out and watch it. :-)

And now that Huey's music has been in Supernatural it'll be even more cool to see him. *g*
