I'M GOING TO SEE JENSEN IN DALLAS!

Ok, apparently I've lost my mind - this afternoon when I got home from work I bought airfare and tickets to see Jensen in  A Few Good Men. I swear, this has got to be the craziest thing I've ever done! LOL!

But I've not gone crazy by myself, oh no. All it took was one phone call to my best buddy charityflint this morning saying "We have GOT to go to Dallas. We can DO this!" and she caved like a house of cards in a matter of minutes. :-)

So yeah, we're off to Dallas to see Jensen (in a military uniform!!) live and in person in June, for not one, but TWO performances. Yep, we got tickets for both the Friday night and Saturday night shows. Heck, I figure if we're down there we'll make the most of it and see him as often as we can!

This reminds me of when I flew to NY to see Ron Perlman in 3 performances of A Few Good Men. And I made many other trips to see my favs.

Have a really good time and take lots of pictures.

When I went to see Perlman and Hamilton in Love Letters in LA, I hid a tape recorder and taped the performance. LOL With the current technology you could return with many mementos.

I'm completely and totally nuts! LOL! But really, airfare was so reasonable that suddenly it became do-able for me and I decided what the heck and just went for it. :-)

Kim, I've lost my mind, I tell you! LOL! But when I saw how reasonable the airfare was, that was the deciding factor on going. There wasn't anything else holding me back and suddenly I was buying tickets! And they're in the THIRD ROW. A little off to the side, but I don't care. I'll only be three rows from Jensen.

I'm going to spontaneously combust. I know I will and then I'll miss the whole performance. :-)

I bought tickets for Amalleigh and myself for the Wednesday night show, since she thinks she has something going on that weekend, and we both thought it was the Highland Games (Otherwise known as the event with more utilikilts than I can physically drool over). Turns out it's not, but I'm not complaining, considering we got what I hope will be awesome seats (we ended up with front row). I'm pretty excited. Maybe since you guys are going to be in town over the weekend, we can hook up and have lunch or something.

Aww, thanks for being happy for me! After the crushing disappointment of spending $200 to see Jared at Fangoria in February and then he canceled, I decided I had to try my luck at seeing Jensen instead. :-)

OH, that rocks! Charity and I got third row, but off to the side. I chose those over ones more in the center but in the second to last row of the theater, because I wanted to be as close to Jensen as possible. :-)

That would be fantastic! Funny you mention that, as Charity just asked me today if we thought we'd be able to meet you while we're in town. :-) Yeah, we fly in Friday morning and leave Sunday morning, so maybe lunch on Saturday?

well, we're off to the side as well, but still, I'm thinking that will be okay. I'll still be close enough to actually see what's going on. When I saw Mamma Mia at Bass Hall, we had seats at the very top of the theatre in the vertigo section (right above nosebleed), and all I saw were little singing & dancing blobs in very shiny, sequined jumpsuits. and if there hadn't been sequins... I might not have seen even that much. I still loved it.

Of course, the second time I saw Little Shop of Horrors (in Dallas rather than London), it was also theatre in the round. Our seats turned out to be literally inches away from the dentist's chair, and I nearly got fake intestines in the face at one point. So maybe close isn't better after all.

When it gets closer, we'll make plans on where and when to meet, but Saturday for lunch sounds wonderful.

It's funny what you said about the lady at the ticket place not knowing why all these tickets were being snatched up...and you are right, poor Jen isn't gonna know what hit him (panties flying) LOL I am so happy for you I'm squeeing myself :) Can't wait for all the gossip and pics you will get for us, see it will be like we all went with you ;) THanks JD
