Supernatural - spoilers up for episode 20
We're gettin' down to the last few episodes here, people! Woot!
Only one page of sides was released, for a character called Carmen for the episode titled "What Is and What Should..." and since SpoilerFix did a great job of summing it up, here ya go:
Episode 2.20: What Is and What Should
Airdate: 5/3 (tentative)
From SpoilerFix:
Dean is attacked by a Djinn (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Djinn ), which warps his reality when it touches him. He wakes in a Lawrence, Kansas apartment next to a woman named Carmen. When he calls Sam to report, the exasperated little brother accuses Dean of drunk-dialing him (hearing 'gin' instead of 'djinn') and tells him to sleep it off. After hanging up on him, Sam returns to his research books - which include a law school textbook.

Ok, so is this the beginning of the "Dean arc" that Kripke was talking about? And I'm also nervous that perhaps THIS is the episode that John will be in and not the season finale, like I was hoping. We know Eric said no flashbacks, but since this is warped reality, it stands to reason that John would still be alive in this universe. Please, please, Eric! I want Sam and Dean to march into Hell to save John instead!
What do you guys think of this summary? I think it sounds interesting and I'm glad it's a creature that we haven't yet seen on SPN. And man, if John is in this episode, can you imagine the Dean angst when he sees his father again??

Boy, these upcoming episodes just sound better and better, don't they? Two things stand out to me here - 1) why do they stress the fact that Sam has a law school textbook, and 2) Dean is in Lawrence, Kansas. I wonder if this is where the Lawrence folklore comes in that Kripke mentioned before - the fact that he chose Lawrence because one of the seven "gateways to hell" is located near there. Coincidence? I don't think Kripke does coincidence.
Thanks for posting this, Barb. I think we are going to see John in hell - and being released from it by his boys. And since they are back in Lawrence, wouldn't it be great if we saw Missouri again?

It could very well be! I thought it might be in the two-part finale, but yeah, we might get some hint of it here, instead.

Oh, I would so love that! I got to read six more pages of the script tonight, and Mary is definitely in it, Dean talks with her. It's says she is of course 20+ years older than when we saw her in the pilot, so I wonder if it will still be the same actress, with make up to look aged.
You know, I'm beginning to think that John may not be in this. In those pages Dean is telling Carmen that whatever "he's" done, he can fix it, that he'll make it up to Sam and Mom and Carmen. He never once mentions John, which I thought was odd. Why wouldn't he say "mom and dad" in that sentence?
