Congratulation. The marriage is not easy, less if there is a age difference. And with the time, the older one starts to act like, I don't know how to say it. You can't stand it, because it is something natural from the aging. I can see it, with my parents, my dad is already 7o years old and my mom 64. But my dad has hit the age where nothing is good for him, is complaining for everything. I am not saying that John has to be in that way, just that as your difference of age is big. You can see by his way to be, that he is old already and you are young. And, when the man does not have anything to do ( like my dad) start to want to tell you how to do stuff,becuase he has nothing to do, than just see how you do the things. That is what happens with my parents and many relatives of my mon :S

So, hope you don't spend those things,and your marriage will be totally different to the others, because you proven them wrong. And because you and John are unique.
