The rewriting of the shifter canon bugged the living fuck out of me. And the show itself was everything Kripke was so adamant about NOT wanting SPN to be. I liked David well enough, but I'd had low expectations for him since I didn't particularly like him in TVD. I had low expectations for the whole Bloodlines project, actually, and this didn't even meet those.
