When houses kill

After battling yet another snowstorm that dropped another 6-8 inches yesterday my day was made better because of Kennex and Dorian. :-)

So wow, when home security goes bad, eh? Makes me think of that AT&T commercial where you use your phone to turn off everything from your kitchen sink to your alarm system. I'm thinking…not.

Some of the highlights of "Disrupt":

• Oh the visual image of Dorian shaving Kennex…yum!

• Loved how the stories Kennex was telling about why Paul was off that day kept getting crazier and crazier - piercings, hemorrhoids, sex-bot - LOL!

• Again with the slam on Kennex's haircut! What gives, Dorian?

• OMG, "hacker" Kennex looked like some kind of vampire with the spiky hair, the eye liner and the leathers. HOT! But damn, when Karl Urban suddenly busted out with his native Kiwi accent? Yeah, I spontaneously combusted right then and there. :-)

• I thought it was kind of…sweet, almost that Rudy used to wake up Dorian just to talk.

• I'm really going to be upset if this show gets canceled because now we have so many dangling plot points - what is Nigel up to, what is the Wall, what's the deal with Stahl being a Chrome, what's the deal with Kennex's father and now, what's up with these "memories" that Dorian has? So much fodder for another season that I'm pretty positive we're never going to get. :-(

So what did you guys think about Disrupt?

I liked the story, but the premise of a white kid getting murdered by the black couple's house...

I know that it wasn't the couple's fault, but somehow with all the recent stories about black men and women getting murdered or shot because people felt 'threatened'... something about it just felt like the wrong way to handle something like this.

Was that the same building as Dick Roman's (that was his name, wasn't it?) HQ on SPN?

I really want to see Karl in that outfit in daylight and I pretty much lost it when he used the accent. I've only seen him in the Star Trek movies, the dubbed version, so I have no idea what he actually sounds like.

The stories about Paul's day off were awesome! I really had to laugh :D

They set so many things up during the last few episodes...I don't want it to end!

I really love this show! All the jokes and little jabs at things are awesome :-D I have to go back and rewatch this ep because someone in my household likes to flip channels during the commercials and then not go back until the show has already been back for 2-3 minutes :-/

Karl + leather + accent = Me Dead!! They need to let him talk longer though, LOL!

And yeah, I wonder about season 2. Not so much because of ratings because I think the ratings are go (could be wrong) but more cause Karl might not be available for filming. I would be very sad :-(

I thought, at first, they were making a Trayvon Martin reference, that the kid got shot sneaking through their yard. But then, the kid turned out to be white, so I don't think that's what they intended.

I also thought it was cute that Rudy used to wake up Dorian, and I really wish he hadn't erased those memories. Especially now that something weird is going on with Dorian's memory, I think the comfort of those conversations would be a nice memory for Dorian to have!

In the back of my mind, I think I knew Karl Urban was not American, but I was still surprised by the accent. Kinda made me laugh. Oh, and the vampire outfit was, indeed, HOT.

What REALLY made me laugh was the woman's reaction to Kennex's story about the sex bot infection. Hubby and I laughed so hard at that one!

Another snowstorm?1 when does it usually gets better?

last week two days was 33 degrees all day, but apparently if felt like 23, cause all day was raining, and we were surprised, cause we have these temperatures usually in the night, not in the day, then the weather got better; and then today 80 degrees! crazy weather!....
