I've got the BEST friends

I had a terrible, horrible day yesterday. I was home sick from work AND our power went out for hours. Needless to say, I was miserable. [sigh]

But then two great things happened that made me smile. The first was a package from my super awesome friend hollylyn1217. She's embarking on a trip in about a week to go see Chris Kane perform not once, but twice, and unfortunately I can't go. :-(    So she had two t-shirts made for me as an honorary member with the slogan her and her Twitter friends came up with for the weekend - The Kane Job (Let's go steal us a weekend). They're so cool! I will wear them the nights of the concerts and listen to Chris on my iPod and pretend I'm there with you, sweetie. :-)

The second thing that made me smile was my amazingly talented friend rivercritter gave me permission to post a piece of art she did just for me, as a thank you for many things that happened at the SPN Chicago Con. She's converting me over to Dean/Cas in a big way and I'm going willingly!

Awwwwwww. You're such a sweetheart! I'm so happy this was able to make your day better. Nothing like having something unexpected make a bad day better. ;) I will gladly draw Dean/Cas work for you any time so feel free to poke me if you do some Dean/Cas fic (HINT HINT) and want someone to illustrate it a bit. ;)
