SPN always does well when the DVR numbers are figured in because so many people record it because it was up against Grey's and CSI, etc. So we look great in those ratings, but as you mentioned, they don't count because people fast forward through the commercials so advertisers don't care about the DVR numbers. Or iTunes, either.
I think what the article I posted referred to was that SPN increased in a certain demo (like women 18-49) from season four to five. But it would've been nice if they just stated it like that!
