Man, Nike has an
entire line
out now of all funky, wacky colors and patterns in high tops for women. So cool!
.and most of the children's librarians I know have been pooh-poohing the idea, especially when they learn how UNrelated it is to the book.
I'm glad to hear that! I hope they steer the kids in the direction of the book.
I think they just liked the title, because really, that's all the two things have in common.
I think you're exactly right. Or they're hoping that people won't go and try and find a book from 1982 to compare the two.
