TVWeek: OK, "Supernatural." Wow-- look at that. My web traffic just tripled! Fans of "Supernatural" are hardcore. They love them some Winchester boys. Has this show proven beyond a doubt that sci-fi ain't a boys' club anymore-- assuming it ever really was?

JOHNSON: We certainly put a dent in that assumption, but lots of shows in the last few years have contributed to that. I'm with you, though: was sci-fi ever really just a boys' club? "The X-Files" broke that wide open years ago, as one example. And again, especially in terms of "Supernatural," the great shows have great characters at the center. It's all about character. People have fallen in love with the Winchesters and care about what happens to them. People have invested in the fates of the group on "Lost," because they're great, dimensionalized characters. To a certain extent, genre and sci-fi are window dressing and less focally important than the characters people care about. It's not just the male audience who care about characters.


TVWeek: Do you think "SN" can survive beyond this upcoming season? Will you leads come back if it does?

JOHNSON: Eric Kripke definitely has a vision for this giant, apocalyptic season of "SN." I truly think the fans who have invested so much time in the seasons so far won't simply want it to end at season 5. I think the future beyond this season is a wide open question.

Yeah, I think after another season of that I'll be ready for them to wrap it up and start fresh for season six [fingers crossed].

For posting this! Yeah, having samllville declining in his viewers or in his powerful show. Well, the only show could be supernatural. CW does not have so much shows, and supernatural is one who has loyal fans, so as the cw´s directors said, that we need to be the numbers and have to be in the middle of the season, but, still, it is a good show, just I really hope that they make a good episodes not like someones of that las season that were crap!

Yeah, I wasn't thrilled with some of the eps from last season, but even the worst ones this year were better than 90% of the episodes from season three!

I disliked season three because of Ruby and Bela. I thought both actresses were horrible and both characters completely useless. I only watch the eps in season three where it's just Sam and Dean.

I like Bella, because she was a bad ass and I wanted someone who made impssioble the life to the winchsters not only the monster of the week or someone who just fight in one episode. I was really pissed off when Kripke decided to kill her. Besides that I like the british accent :D hehehehehehe

And well the ruby mmmm Maybe from the beginning they didn´t know how to fit her on the show and just did crap. :O hehehe

I would've liked Bela if she was on the show just one time, like she was originally supposed to be. We'd gotten so used to Sam and Dean being smarter than anyone else, and along comes this woman who was a better con artist than them. One time would've been great, but an entire season of her constantly making the boys look like utter fools was just ridiculous.

As for Ruby, again it comes down to both actresses being just horrible, which is why I didn't like the character. If they'd gotten someone like Nicki Acoyx again I would've loved the character.

Ohhh right! I got you, just because Lauren is a better actor than Jared and jensen it look bad in the show? Well, to me,... I don´t like either of them. even as an actor or as a man. Jared I like for the way he is with the fans just awesome person and Jensen well I don´t like him just I think he don´t give the fans the respect they deserve., but, in this show I really like how Jensen play Dean, I really like him. so, I think Jensen and Lauren played a episode. and well, if you have the same actors win, what is the deal here? it could be a little boring, is more interesting when they have to fight and be smarter to won against the devil.

And Ruby, I have to admit that I like katie, because she acted very well, some times she made me think that she was good another she was bad, but maybe, just the writers didn´t know how to head her in a good path. and well later with gen, I don´t like the way she acted and just her characer had lack of something to believe.
