So I got a response from Multipleverses.com about some SPN season five casting info they posted on their site earlier today.

Ok, this is what they posted on their site:

Announced last week- Sam is getting a visit from someone from his past. Adrianne Palicki will be coming back to the show as Sam’s girlfriend Jessica. Is she a spirit? A hallucination? An angel? We don’t know yet. Adrianne and Jeffrey Dean Morgan are both signed to do episodes on a recurring basis through the end of this season. Sounds like the producers are using their chits to bring back the gorgeous blond for Sam.

I asked them where they'd read that JDM was coming back and this is what they said:

JDM is not confirmed to be coming back- but like Adrianne he is optioned to come back through the end of this season for an unspecified number of interviews. He talked about that at Wondercon back in Feb when promoting Watchmen. He has said he would love to do some more episodes- so lets hope that this year we get a good a flashback epi! Maybe with JDM and Bobby.

So as I thought, it's complete speculation on the website's part, and I wish they hadn't worded their article the way they did. They got our hopes up!

Thanks for getting the clarification, Barb. I would so love to see Papa Winchester back on SPN, and I mean his body this time, not just his voice! Did you see the report from one of Jensen's panels at the Asylum Con where he stated that he had spent some time with Jeff in LA before he traveled to the UK for the convention. I'm glad to hear that the guys stay in touch. Have I mentioned that I so love that the boys are such good friends in real life?

Did you see the new pictures of Jeff that were posted in the last few days? Thay are apparently from the set of the new movie he is filming with Hilary Swank, the name of which escapes me right now. I want to see him again! I always was disappointed for the lack of presence of him. Just in how many episodes? three? four? I know that maybe it was the storyline, but, I didnt get why spend all the season talking about find dad and just kill him fast! gr! I didn´t like it! and, the worst thing is the awful, stupid, and idiot way the demons captured him in order to be possessed by the YED. I mean, John spoused to be smart and that way was completely idiot!

Yeah, very misleading indeed, which is why I wanted confirmation from the website, only to have them say it was their own speculation. Grrrr....

I miss JDM, too and I really, really hope that Eric can get him back again before the show ends.
