My mom watches GL, and I used to catch it occasionally when I was visiting. She was a pretty good actress as a kid, and I think she went on to do some Broadway and off-Broadway plays. She does look young, but that could be a plus. (I think the most effective demon they had was the little blonde girl who played Lilith.)

Plus, she's pretty short, I think. They couldn't possibly try to have her be a love interest when the height difference is so big!
