cus I like Castiel but putting him in all the time is going to have an awful back lashing and the opposite effect that he wants.

Not if it's done right, which I have my fingers crossed for, since I love Castiel, and I hope Kripke doesn't go for the overkill, like he did with Ruby and Bela last season, cramming them down our throats. I've got faith he learned his lesson with that. :-)
