I had a friend that had to give one of her cats chemotherapy, and the other cat had much the same reaction. She thought the cat could smell the sickness on her, or the chemicals from the vet and the treatments, and because they were an alien smell to the cat, she reacted with rejection and hostility. If that is the case, it may continue through the iodine treatments, but once the chemicals are out of her system again, would go back to normal. Don't know if that's reassuring at all. :(
