Nice to see the ratings staying strong. That certainly bodes well for Season 4.

I am one of the reasons for the increase. One of my flist friends was posting Jensen/Dean picspams and video links last fall.

I had to check it out and I am hooked. I haven't missed a show since then. I rented and watched all of season one about two weeks ago and hubby bought both seasons for me for Valentine's Day. They showed up Tuesday this week and I have seen 12 episodes of Season 2 since Tuesday night including watching the two episodes last night on the CW.

I keep pimping the show to my rl friends, but I don't think any of them have watched it yet.

Thanks for posting the news. Especially when it is as good as this.

How much do you love that after all the effort and advertising for Pussycat dolls (including having their stupid logo covering our boys' face half the time) that their season premier did less than the spn rerun? Way less.
*is petty*

Thank you so much for posting!

I wonder how much of that might be connected with the 8:00 repeat? If Smallville fans stayed on, and people bored with Survivor or whatever other dreck was on the other channels found it then, they might have stayed on for the new episode.

Considering that SPN has been pretty much completely ignored and neglected by the CW this season -- way to spend not a cent on promotion/advertising there, guys, thanks ever so much -- that speaks volumes about how blasted good the show is on its own merits. Think how well it could do if TPTB would just move it out of the time-slot-from-hell, and/or maybe promote it a bit.

I will be keeping all my fingers and toes crossed for the foreseeable future.

Thanks so much for compiling all this data, [livejournal.com profile] agt_spooky, that's hugely helpful!
