My thoughts on "DD,(SPOILERS)" and a curse on ABC...

Damnit!! My other tv's on the fritz and I can't watch Lost on my PC cause my speakers are still busted. Thanks loads, ABC. I need my Hurley fix...

Oh, well. To "Dream a Little Dream..." First off, the crew deserves a huge round of applause--the spx, lighting, and sets were SUPERB. Mind-blowing(heh)...the hotel room with its bird motif, the too-perfect house and yard with the bright, munchkin-ny colors, the hints of sepia...all of it just gorgeously done, and it really kept me off balance. I do wish there had been a happier scene or two with Bobby and his wife, to offset the reveal that he had killed her. And I definitely want more digging into Dean's self issues, but I don't want the writers getting into that "Sin City" talking heads thing again.

Sam's Bela fantasy? Yep, that made me feel dirty, too, and not in a good way...really I think he should have been perving on Ruby, because of her demon blood, and his. Darkness calling to darkness. But it was too adorable how embarrassed he was; the whole ep had reminders of how we don't want anyone to know what's going on in our heads. I really loved the whole scene when they drank the stuff (I kept hoping they'd play Cream's "Strange Brew") and made those 'tastes like ass' faces. And their 'are we high yet?' faces. (And their knees were touching, oh boys, I love ya!). And the rain falling up.

But the best part, of course, was Dean's face-off with himself. Jensen was just...beyond words...in this. He was powerful. Unbelievable. I was breathless. I wanted to freaking CHEER

(OOPS, CONTINUED)
...when Dean yelled that he didn't deserve to go to Hell. (Ohh, why is it when the Winchesters go bad it's so good? I mean, even blood-spattered DemonDean, I'd be lining up to kiss his ass, no lie.)

This ep has definitely put the last nail in the Bela coffin, for me. Kripke, I tried. I really did. But honestly, how many times can this broad rip the guys off, especially after they saved her worthless, snippy butt in "Red Sky," and get away with it? She's no hunter; she has no information that could help Dean; and we've gotta suffer through at least one more ep with her because she stole the Colt.

Aww, I love Hurley! And I loved Lost, too, until they killed off Charlie and now I'm through with it. [sigh]

First off, the crew deserves a huge round of applause-

Yeah, I heard that it was filmed really, really wonderfully.

I do wish there had been a happier scene or two with Bobby and his wife, to offset the reveal that he had killed her.

Heard about that, too. Gosh, how horrible for Bobby! Notice how it's usually a death - mom for the boys, sister for Gordon, wife for Bobby - that gets these guys into this life?

but I don't want the writers getting into that "Sin City" talking heads thing again.

Yeah, exposition can get boring really quickly.

Sam's Bela fantasy?

God, please, stop I'm going to be sick. It's absolutely disgusting what they did there. I mean, c'mon! She's SHOT Sam, she's done nothing but steal from them and she sent Gordon to them to KILL them! So naturally Sam wants to have sex with her. WTF??? This just goes to show that this character is a waste of space and needs to be gotten rid of.

And their knees were touching, oh boys, I love ya!)

Hee! Sweet!

But the best part, of course, was Dean's face-off with himself. Jensen was just...beyond words...in this. He was powerful. Unbelievable. I was breathless. I wanted to freaking CHEER

He just keeps getting more and more amazing, doesn't he? :-)
