New SPN episode on the 22nd or not?

Ok, what's the deal? Last night I was making sure that my DVR was set up to tape the new episode (finally!!) of SPN this Thursday, the 15th. My DVR guide goes out for two weeks, so it should've also shown me the new episode on the 22nd, but it's not showing a new one, but a repeat (and I'm blanking right now on what episode). But Futon Critic's site shows a new episode on the 22nd.

Last I heard there was going to be a new one, because Smallville has a new episode on that week.

So right now I'm utterly confused. My DVR hasn't been wrong in the past, but in this case I'm hoping that it is!

I remember seeing something a while back saying that we'd have three weeks of re-runs, then this week's new episode Roadkill, then three more weeks of re-runs before the rest of the season airs. :( I can't tell you where I saw that so there's no telling how reliable it is, but I've been hoping since then that it's wrong.

Somebody want to make my day and prove me wrong? Please?!

I just thought to check TV Guide's online schedule, and they're listing a new episode ("Heart") next week. Let's hope your DVR is the one that's wrong!

Yay! Thank you for this! I can't get to TV Guide's site from where I am, so thank you for checking there. I'm hoping my DVR corrects itself by the time the 22nd rolls around.

Basketball playoffs.

Seriously, I wonder if they'll not do a new episode on the 22nd because it's the beginning of the basketball playoffs, and they're afraid that will steal all the viewers. Plus, sweeps are in April, aren't they? So they may want to hold the new episodes until then.

See, this is why I'm so confused! But tecetyeintyale checked TV Guide's online site listings and it does list Heart on the 22nd.

But the playoffs are why I thought that there wouldn't be a new one on. Geez, I guess we're just going to see if they have a "preview" after Roadkill. If CW would just list a blasted schedule on their own site we wouldn't have to play this guessing game!

TIVO shows "Heart" on the 22nd. But that doesn't keep the CW from changing their mind at the last minute. How many more eps are there supposed to be for this season?

There are 22 eps this season, and Roadkill coming up this week is number 16, so we've only got 7 left!

I got the new TVGuide in the mail today and it shows "Heart" for the 22nd. Even has a write-up on the Thursday night highlights page (but mainly because of the guest star):

Having done "Saw II," a Masters of Horror episode, a ton of Sci Fi Channel flicks and a stint on the always-grisly CSI: NY, it makes total sense that Emmanuelle Vaugier would turn up on the junior-league X-Files. The exotic (and ubiquitous!) actress guest stars as a beauty who gives Sam some much-needed lovin' after the Winchesters sweep in to protect her from a rather fierce and frightening werewolf.

So it looks like there's also a new ep on 3/22.

Hm. My tv guide says this week is "Road Kill"--or, what I call the "Six Episode." Geez, I almost hope that "Heart" isn't next week--I may have to babysit my niece and while I love her to bits, I'd rather be home watching/taping Sam get lucky than taping it at my sister's place.

Oh well. This damn time change is making my head feel like a bucket of mud.

Well, it looks like there's a blurb in the printed version of TV Guide for next week, so it looks like there really is a new episode on, which is great. Only one new ep in the entire month of March would've sucked!

Well, it looks like there really is a new ep on the 22nd - according to the printed version of TV Guide, and it's website. So for some bizarre reason my DVR is wrong and I'm going to have to manually tell it to record next week, unless it fixes itself by then!

Yes, the "Six Episode"! Ha! I'm probably one of the few on the planet who doesn't watch BSG, so I barely know who Tricia is. I'm just hoping she doesn't hog all of the screen time, you know?

And it looks like Heart really is on on the 22nd, according to the printed version of the TV Guide and the online site. But who knows, until we see "previews" at the end of Roadkill we won't know for sure!

Oh great, thanks for this, Deborah! I still haven't gotten my new TV Guide in the mail yet. I find it interesting that SPN really only gets press because of the guest stars. There was a blurb for the rerun of Usual Suspects, highlighting Linda Blair, then Roadkill because of Tricia Helfer and now Heart because of Emmanuelle. I know this is still good that they're getting little writeups, but the show can stand on it's own just fine because of Jensen and Jared!

This will be an interesting ep, since on BSG (and I am STILL waiting for another shot of Jamie Bamber in a towel), Six can kick any man through a wall. Will be interesting to see her as the 'damsel in distress' on SPN--if she IS what she seems to be, hehheh...
