He really doesn't think his life is important - not compared to Sam's - or any number of other people. And I'm not entirely sure why.
I don't understand either! I've spent two years watching that character like a hawk and still can't figure out why he thinks his life isn't worth anything. WHO put that notion into his head and WHY?
Dean would sacrifice himself over and over for Sam... but he doesn't think he can ever do enough to prevent Sam from leaving him
Isn't that the saddest damn thing? All Dean has ever wanted was to keep what was left of his family together, but both his brother and father seem hell bent on going their separate directions, leaving Dean standing all alone in the middle. Breaks my heart! God, I love that boy and just want to hug him!
