Yet another exciting weekend! Not. :-)
I was once again pretty much a home-body. It’s been so cold and dreary for so many weeks now that I just don’t have the urge to go outside if I don’t have to.
Had some TV to get caught up on Saturday. I’m watching that new show Six on the History Channel about SEAL Team Six, mainly for research since I’m writing about the military with my ebooks. Happy to see Kyle Schmid, who I’ve loved since he was a vampire on Blood Ties. I just wish the show would focus more on their mission instead of their personal lives, which I’m finding very boring.
The hardshell cover for my Mac laptop somehow cracked and my new one arrived on Saturday. Isn’t it pretty?
On Sunday between loads of laundry I sat down to start reading this massive hardcover book on the history of The X-Files that I had gotten for my birthday. The print is tiny and it’s going to take me forever to get through it, but so far I’m really enjoying it. Lots of behind-the-scenes stuff I never knew about.
John ran to Mariano’s on Friday and picked us up some delicious soup and sandwiches we had on Sunday as we watched the snow flurries outside.
Started writing my new ebook Hunted Soldier (Shadow Unit Book 3) after having a bad case of writer’s block since October, after book two was published. Feels good to be back in the groove again. Time to start binge-watching Strike Back, as it’s been my inspiration for all of my Shadow Unit stories.
Other than than, not much else happened besides getting things prepped for filing our taxes. Oh, joy! But we normally get a refund so I’m not complaining. It’s just a pain getting all the 1099’s from all of the different ebook retailers I do business with. Ugh.
How was YOUR weekend?
